DMHSS follow Matriculation Syllabus approved by Govt of India
Syllabus
Curriculum is the lifeline of any school and decides the knowledge level and competency of the children. Our School follows the TN State Govt Matriculation Syllabus from Std 1 to Std 12. The TN Govt has upgraded the Syllabus in 2018 and the content of the text books are equivalent and better that any other Board in the country. This is evident from the fact the TN Matric board students are excelling in National Entrance exams like IITJEE and NEET unlike the past.
Assesment
Assessment is the key which places focus on the student's performance. 60% weightage is given for theory and written work and performance in the exam and 40% is allotted for classroom activity. Monthly test, Unit test are conducted with limited portions for students to gradually study their portion. Quarterly , Half-yearly and Annual exams are conducted to assess the students overall performance
Open House
At the end of each term an "OPEN DAY" Parent teacher meeting is exclusively arranged for one-to-one interaction between parents and teachers/Management .We believe that parent- teacher and student are equally responsible for the progress of the student. Parents are expected to take attend this open day without fail

KINDERGARTEN
The formative years of a child in school is of atmost importance. Hence , a lot of effort is taken to create a happy , healthy and colourful environment in the school for KG kids. MI kids ( Multiple -Intelligence)Phonics methodology is used to teach the children to read and talk in English. Colour days/Vegetable day, etc., are conducted periodically to add meaning to the children's study. Food and Toilet etiquettes are guided by the school with parental support
MIDDLE SCHOOL (Grade 1-8)
Reading , Writing, coupled with listening and speaking is the key focus during the primary years. Arithmetic and Tamil/Hindi also adequately coached forming the foundation for higher learning at higher classes.

HIGH SCHOOL (Grade 9-12)
These four years of education are important and have lasting impact on one's educational records. Students have to learn more and gear up to face Govt Exams and display all their academic acumen. Special class for slow learners is conducted after school hours to handhold the weaker students. 10th & 12th Std students are periodically given counselling to manage stress and fear and to cope with exam pressure. High performers are given encouragement to come-out in flying colours. Periodic meeting with parents are conducted to understand and inform them the academic status of their children.
